Grounds Management Center

Concord Country Club has seen the successful completion of the new Grounds Management Center and  Environmental Management Center.  These state of the art facilities better allow the grounds management team to continue meet the expectations of the membership.

Grounds Management Center
The Grounds Management Center serves as the base of operation for the maintenance staff.  Our new facility is able to store all large and small equipment in a sheltered and secure environment.  In accordance with planning the new building has ample room for future expansion of our fleet of equipment and size of staff.

Four garage doors provide access to the bottom level of the GMC where small equipment is stored.

Storage bays (pictured above) allow storage of vital materials such as sand, gravel and mulch.  The second floor of the GMC (pictured below) stores heavy equipment, irrigation equipment, grass seed and other essential equipment.  The intern housing attached to the GMC has several dedicated parking spaces.

The Grounds Management Center also is home of the offices for the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents.  A large break room and locker room are used daily by the staff.

Environmental Management Center

The Environmental Management Center is a single building that serves several important roles.  The EMC provides safe storage of all chemicals and fertilizers as well as a chemical mixing area.  There is also a fueling station for gas and diesel with an above ground double-walled tank.  All equipment is also cleaned  in the wash area, which contains a closed loop water recycling system.

The EMC provides a secure place to store chemicals and fertilizers.  Also the chemical mixing bays make mixing more efficient and are able to contain any potential spill.

Fueling station (above) and wash off area (below).  Both areas were designed with the environment in mind.  The fueling station can contain 100% of the fuel tank in case of a rupture.  The wash area is part of the zero discharge building.

Intern Housing

Brand new housing provided for interns is attached to the Grounds Management Center, making it an easy commute to work.  There are three bedrooms that can house up to five staff at once.

The kitchen area is equipped with new appliances including a fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher.  Dinnerware and cookware are also provided for the residents.  The staff living quarters also has a common area with satellite tv and wi-fi internet.

Two full bathrooms for residents ensures no long wait.
Also the housing unit has both a no-cost washer and dryer.
